Randy Ledbetter
I have a professional passion for performance excellence in Facilities Management (FM). My expertise and success in this field have developed from working with Educational facilities and FM outsourcing companies in a myriad of vertical markets (Corporate, Commercial, Education, Healthcare, and Industrial) but I have spent a majority of my career in the Education market working with Colleges and Universities and public and private K-12’s. Over a period of 21 years at ServiceMaster Management Services (now Aramark), I maintained an account retention rate of more than 97 percent while in operations as well as being nationally ranked as the top sales producer (3X) and then top sales leader (4X) after I moved into Business Development. Since that time, I have served as VP of Business Development for UGL services (now Cushman and Wakefield) for 14 years as well as VP of Sales for Compass-SSC and ISS North America in consulting capacities. My track record includes assisting hundreds of clients to improve their facilities operations, and numerous outsourcing firms more than double close ratios, increasing new business by as much as 3.5 times and securing more than two billion dollars of annualized new business. In 2013, I started my consulting company, R Ledbetter & Associates.
As founder and CEO of R Ledbetter & Associates, I immerse myself in the framework and foundation of each client to achieve record results. I lead our team of consultants to identify strengths, pain points, and opportunities for improvement while providing fact-based recommendations and creating a unique solution for the company or institution. We are committed to the long-term success of our clients. It is not only about each plan and strategy but about results and sustainable success.
When I am not working at R Ledbetter & Associates, I am honored to have been on the Board of Directors of the Sterling Council for over 20 years and to have served as Chairman of the Council on 3 different occasions. I am currently Chairman Emeritus and Chairman of the Sterling Foundation. I am also involved with other organizations such as the Association for Facilities Engineering (AFE), the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO), and International Facilities Management Association (IFMA). Additionally, I am a two-time recipient of the Leadership in Educational Facilities Management’s (APPA’s) Eagle Award as a result of my years of contributions to that professional organization.
