Our process begins with an in-depth discovery to reveal the critical capabilities, resources and differentiators that separate you from your peers or competitors. We analyze everything from high-level strategy to the day to day functionality of your organization. The process includes gathering data on staffing, organizational structure, roles and responsibilities, programs, budget, strategic plans, infrastructure and any previous studies or reports available as well as past performance to name a few. Upon review, we conduct a SWOT and competitive analysis, focused on your organization’s needs.
We review the data revealed in the first step by validating, evaluating and benchmarking initial findings and observations against best practices. We then prepare a guiding document as a point of departure in moving forward.
From here we share initial findings and recommendations formed in the review process and then rework the plan, as needed by including your team. This ensures we are aligning with both operational and organizational goals through discussions, debates, and brainstorms. We create a business plan with specific and prioritized action items and put them into motion. We also establish roles, responsibilities, and timelines, as well as organize a navigator team to help steer the process moving forward.
We begin to roll-out the plan with an orientation to build consensus and gain buy-in. In this stage it is crucial to provide support for training, development, coaching and mentoring. We also establish key performance indicators, milestones, and critical success factors, adjusting the plan as necessary over the course of implementation.
After plan deployment, it is important to refresh and repeat The R Factor process to continuously raise the bar by identifying new opportunities for improvement.
