Rich Armandi

Rich has had a 35+ year career, dominated by his strong blend of mechanical skills and management experience, achieving success in many key operational and support roles in several major management services companies. Working in Healthcare, Education, Manufacturing and Pharmaceutical facilities, Rich has reengineered facilities maintenance departments and completed a wide range of facilities condition assessments and capital renewal projects. 

Rich owned and operated a full service mechanical contracting firm in the Philadelphia area in the mid-eighties, responsible for system design and service. He developed a competency for HVAC systems and building automation operations and maintenance. His unique combination of hands-on building systems; design, repair, and management experience has proven successful, receiving awards for his performance and accolades from the people he managed over the years. 

Dedicated to technical training and development, Rich has developed many training programs for mechanical maintenance, and facilities management. He worked as a teacher at Delaware County Community College where he developed the curriculum for EPA refrigerant certification. DCCC became the first Education Facility in PA to be approved by the EPA to offer certification programs. 

Now in his own consulting business Rich can help any facilities maintenance organization improve and move to the next level. Whether it is implementing a new CMMS or upgrading an existing one, implementing KPI’s to improve and balance the productivity of the workforce or building systems and standards for sustainable performance Rich can partner with you to make it happen.
